The control panel mounted at the top of the Ariston ARWDF129NA Elegance Line Washer and Dryer Combo looks rather sophisticated with its buttons, knob, timer display, and plenty of indicator lights.  The buttons and knob access the different cycles and functions of the machine, while the indicator lights shows the phases of the wash cycles, set functions, temperatures, dryer functions, as well as the child lock and door lock functions.

The Ariston ARWDF129 is a front-loading washer/dryer combo with a wash capacity of 15 lbs. It features a round glass door through which its stainless steel drum is visible. It is colored white, although there is a variation called the ARWDF129SNA that is in platinum.

There are ten wash cycles, half of which includes Essential Cycles while the remaining half consists of Special Cycles. The Essential Cycles are: Cottons Regular for whites that are heavily soiled and those with resistant colors; Cottons Colored intended for lightly soiled whites and delicate colors; Permanent Press for regularly soiled synthetics and permanent press fabrics; Mixed Load meant to refresh a mix of lightly dirtied garments with the exception of wool and silk; and Quick Wash and Dry for clothes that are not soiled but may have acquired a slightly funny smell.

Special Cycles include: Bright White which is for heavily soiled whites that require bleaching; Active Wear for sports wear such as singlets and running shorts; Lightly Soiled 15 Minutes for a quick wash; Delicate for not too dirty delicate fabrics; and Wool which is also for cashmere.

In addition to your choice of wash cycles, you can also choose water temperature to suit the type of fabric washed. You can opt for tap water, cold at 15 – 20°C, warm at 30 – 40°C, and hot at 57°C.

There are two ways that you can adjust drying. One is by choosing drying time from 40 – 180 minutes. Another is based on how dry you want your clothes. You can choose Iron Dry that leaves the clothes slightly damp for easy ironing, or Cupboard Dry for very dry clothes that you can immediately store in your closet.
